Dedication

This web site is lovingly dedicated to our dear friend Karen McKee who gently slipped away form her body on September 5, 2002 after having experienced cancer and chemo for far too long. Karen was also known as “Spirit Seeker” for her ability to find Spirit in everything, especially the Earth; the clay which she so expertly molded into angels, goddesses, crones and divas. She had an amazing ability to breathe life into the simplest things, creating works of art that take on a life of their own. In Karen’s hands, feathers discarded by a bird became the wings of angels, molded from the clay of the earth. A dry gourd, abandoned by its umbilical to the earth, became a beautifully decorated musical instrument, or a vibrantly colored container for treasures untold.

Many of the photos in our presentation were born of Karen’s creative soul.
